Lochtefeld said he learned Thursday that the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control has approved a liquor license for Club Fox, formerly known as the Little Fox, which is next door to the 1,400-seat main theater. Club Fox hosted a soft opening in late July, and Lochtefeld said he expects to formally open its doors as soon as mid-October. The club will feature blues, jazz, comedy and dance nights, as well as performances by local and international artists, said Lochtefeld’s brother, Charlie Lochtefeld, entertainment director for the Fox.
